Expo 1893 Chicago

One of the most popular expositions held in the United States, over 27 million people attended. It celebrated the 400th anniversary of the arrival of Christopher Columbus in North America (a year late because of delays). Chicago would later host the 1933-'34 Century of Progress Exposition.
